[Cotun] "If You Have Extra Funds, Buy Bitcoin Instead of Gold?"
Pro-cryptocurrency U.S. Senator Bernie Moreno said in an interview with CNBC that although he does not currently hold cryptocurrencies, if he had extra funds, he would buy Bitcoin (BTC) instead of gold. According to Wu Blockchain, he added that while Bitcoin is highly volatile, investments should be viewed from a long-term perspective.
Regarding claims that stablecoins threaten the U.S. dollar, he stated, "Stablecoins could significantly increase demand for U.S. Treasuries and reduce debt by hundreds of billions of dollars annually," warning that "if the United States fails to seize this opportunity, the center of innovation will move elsewhere."
