A prominent XRP bull has argued that ultra-high price forecasts such as $1,000 or $10,000 circulating in parts of the market cannot be justified by any technical chart. He also urged investors to adopt an approach grounded in realistic data.

According to cryptocurrency media outlet The Crypto Basic on February 24 (local time), analyst EGRAG CRYPTO criticized claims on his X (formerly Twitter) account that XRP could reach four- or five-digit prices in the short term, calling them fiction not supported by chart analysis. While EGRAG remains bullish on XRP’s upside potential, he emphasized that presenting baseless figures only undermines market credibility.

EGRAG explained that even the most optimistic interpretations of available high-timeframe charts and technical indicators do not yield price targets of $1,000 or $10,000. Analyses using Fibonacci retracement levels or historical trend lines also fail to support such extreme projections. He stressed that chart analysis is not magic but must be grounded in objective data.

EGRAG instead presented a more realistic upside target range of $27 to $33, noting that this projection faithfully reflects historical cycle patterns and the current market structure. Even if XRP were to replicate the explosive gains seen in past rallies, he cautioned that its market capitalization—potentially reaching into the trillions of dollars—must be taken into account, warning investors not to be swayed by unrealistic price predictions.
