In the cryptocurrency market, warnings have emerged that XRP could stage a surprise surge just as investors shift their attention elsewhere, following analysis suggesting the asset has reached a historic inflection point after five months of prolonged correction.

According to The Crypto Basic on February 18 (local time), Vandell Aljarrah, co-founder of Black Swan Capitalist, argued that XRP’s full-scale breakout will occur at a time when the majority of investors least expect it. XRP has fallen roughly 60% from its all-time high of $3.66 recorded in July 2025, disappointing market expectations. However, Aljarrah emphasized that true turning points tend to arrive precisely when public interest shifts to other assets and widespread disappointment sets in.
