Solana Plunges 32% in a Month—Will AI’s March 1 Rebound Prediction Come True?

Amid weakened investor sentiment and declining trading volumes that have swept across the cryptocurrency market, Solana (SOL), which has plunged more than 32% over the past month, is drawing investor attention following an artificial intelligence forecast predicting a modest rebound on March 1.

According to cryptocurrency media outlet Finbold on February 27 (local time), an analysis combining three large language models—ChatGPT, Grok, and DeepSeek Chat—using AI-based price prediction tools projected Solana’s average target price for March 1 at $89.47. This represents a roughly 3.5% increase from its current trading price of $86.44, suggesting a narrow but positive rebound despite the absence of a clear bullish catalyst.

Among the individual AI models, DeepSeek Chat presented the most optimistic outlook, predicting a 5.45% rise to $90.25. Grok projected a 3.25% increase to $89.25, while ChatGPT offered a relatively conservative forecast of $88.90, implying a 2.85% gain.

From a technical analysis perspective, Solana is currently trading near the daily pivot point of $87.56 and between key Fibonacci retracement levels. The Relative Strength Index (RSI), which measures market buying and selling pressure, stands at 58.26, indicating a neutral condition without being overbought or oversold.

Short-term price direction will likely depend on whether key support levels hold. If Solana successfully maintains support above the 50% Fibonacci retracement level at $86.71, it could retest the 24-hour high near $88.90 as projected by ChatGPT. However, if the $86.71 support level breaks, the price could decline toward the 61.8% retracement level at $86.19, exposing it to further downside risk.

Ultimately, the short-term stabilization of Solana and the broader altcoin market is expected to hinge on the performance of Bitcoin (BTC). Market participants are closely watching whether Bitcoin can secure stable support above the $67,500 level and help restore overall investor sentiment.
