The author of the global bestseller "Rich Dad Poor Dad" has drawn market attention by predicting the destined moment when the leading cryptocurrency will ultimately surpass traditional safe-haven asset gold.
According to crypto media outlet Finbold on February 21 (local time), Robert Kiyosaki forecast that Bitcoin (BTC) will overtake gold when the 21 millionth Bitcoin is mined. Unlike gold, whose supply can increase through ongoing exploration and mining activities, he argued that Bitcoin’s total supply is permanently capped by computer code, and that upon reaching this निर्णining milestone, its overwhelming scarcity value will be firmly established.
In the current global asset market, gold boasts a market capitalization of approximately $35.7 trillion, significantly outpacing Bitcoin’s roughly $1.36 trillion and reinforcing its status as a traditional safe-haven asset. Despite Bitcoin recently undergoing a price correction and trading around $68,200, Kiyosaki revealed that he purchased an additional Bitcoin at $67,000, citing expectations of a major shift in the global financial system and anticipation surrounding the eventual supply cap being reached.
Behind this aggressive investment stance lies the issue of uncontrollable U.S. debt. Kiyosaki warned that the massive national debt, officially standing at $38 trillion, is undermining the value of the dollar and will ultimately trigger large-scale money printing by the Federal Reserve. In such an inflationary environment, he analyzed that Bitcoin, with its limited supply, will gain a decisive edge over traditional safe-haven assets and drive explosive demand for hard assets.
Kiyosaki further cautioned that relentless money printing and currency devaluation could lead to the worst stock market crash in history, in which paper assets such as stocks, bonds, and cash would suffer the most severe losses. However, rather than fearing the crisis, he emphasized that it should be viewed as a buying opportunity, strongly urging investors to shift their portfolios away from paper assets and into real assets with long-term competitiveness, such as gold, silver, Bitcoin, and Ethereum (ETH).
