XRP Stuck at $2 Resistance, $1.30 Floor Also at Risk

XRP (Ripple) has slipped below $1.45, signaling expanding weekly volatility and raising a warning that a break below key support could trigger an additional 10% decline.

According to crypto-focused outlet U.Today on February 21 (local time), XRP is currently trading under $1.45, while the Bollinger Bands on the weekly chart are widening. The price is leaning against the lower boundary at $1.32. The formation of this structure on the weekly timeframe indicates mounting pressure at a critical inflection point, suggesting the move is unlikely to end lightly.

A more pressing concern is that the 20-week moving average, which serves as the midpoint of the Bollinger Bands, remains near $2 and continues to point downward. Since XRP marked a peak of $3 in late 2025, every rebound attempt has failed to break above this resistance line. This reflects a classic bearish market structure in which both highs and closing prices continue to trend lower.

Price action near the lower band is further amplifying market anxiety. Instead of staging a strong rebound after touching the lower band, XRP is barely holding above the $1.30 floor, forming small weekly candles near the bottom. This suggests that selling pressure has not yet been exhausted, and that fresh supply continues to emerge each time attempts are made to stabilize the price, suppressing demand.
