Concerns have emerged that Shiba Inu could add another “zero” and fall to $0.0000009, but analysts say the likelihood of such a move in the short term is limited.

According to crypto-focused media outlet Watcher.Guru on February 13 (local time), Shiba Inu (SHIB) has shown weak performance throughout 2025, with selling pressure becoming especially pronounced after the market downturn last October. SHIB climbed to $0.000032 in December 2024 but has been on a steady decline since then.

The last time SHIB traded at $0.0000009 was in early 2021. Considering that it later surged to an all-time high of $0.00008616 in October of the same year, a return to $0.0000009 would mark its lowest level in years. However, the outlet noted that the possibility of SHIB adding another “zero” in the near term remains very low.

Price prediction platform CoinCodex also assessed that SHIB is unlikely to add or remove a “zero” anytime soon. Instead, it forecasts a gradual recovery in momentum over the coming months. CoinCodex projects that SHIB will trade at $0.0000071 on April 27, 2026, representing approximately 19.3% upside from its current price.

Nevertheless, a rebound may not come easily. Over the past few months, high-risk assets—including meme coins—have suffered significant setbacks, with investors showing a tendency to avoid highly volatile assets. The outlet added that for meme coins like SHIB to regain a strong upward trend, Bitcoin (BTC) will likely need to re-enter a bullish phase.

Recently, the cryptocurrency market has faced multiple pressures, including shrinking liquidity, macroeconomic uncertainty, and geopolitical tensions. Until these external factors ease, a clear trend reversal for SHIB is expected to be difficult, suggesting that a limited trading range may persist for the time being.
